What a hilarious movie. If you get a chance to check out Anchorman, do it. I've only been able to take Will Ferril in The Oblongs and this movie, and he is damned funny in both.
Also came across this article from a game developer about publishers and piracy. I'll be the first to admit, we don't control the game copying at our LAN parties and it is definitely 9 times out of 10 people not wanting to haul around their entire CD collection to play a couple of games. It's unfortunate that publishers can force developers to maintain CD keys and copy protection.

The bad part about computer games these days, is they are all the same, only with a different theme or setting. It seems there are no more orinignal ideas out there.
Not only that, all the RPG are now MMPRPG which you have to pay to play online.
Diablo 2 was the last good multiplayer RPG out there.
I'm looking forward to playing some Dungeon Siege at our next LAN. It's not the most inspiring RPG, but it was a lot of fun for about 20 hours when I played it single player.
I totally agree about games being the same. We always seem to switch between UT2k4, Battlefield Vietnam, and Call of Duty and I never feel like I'm doing anything different than I was doing before. That's why it was so much fun playing Jedi Academy and Warcraft III (a good RTS/RPG semi-combo). They were just so much different than the usual round of games.
I tried to get people playing the last Splinter Cell, but no one liked the idea of shooting tazers and actually trying to think about what you do when you play.
